Hey guys, Ive been running in a tier 2 country for a couple weeks now, and have been struggling to get my ctr up to an acceptable %. Ive tried everything in my arsenal, and still no improvement. I am using the translation services of a native speaker..which kinda limits my copy to what Ive had translated, unless i wana send out another 1000 words for translation, but the copy isnt thaaat bad.. My ctr was fine in other countries without even optimizing, do some countries click alot less than others??
It really depends on your angle. What works in one country or a region, won't necessarily work the same in another. You should try a different approach and see what happens.
I tend to find with broad appealing campaigns that 2nd and 3rd tier countries draw higher CTRs due to the fact they are less saturated. But like theoptimist said it depends on the angle, and whether it's relevant to the country.
I've noticed the same thing as MrGreen.
I've taken cool angles / ideas that ive used in US/UK etc... and usually when applied to a country more foreign countries the CTR spikes up.
With that said though certain angles/niches are over saturated such as adult in Italy/France and a couple other euro countries.
For me , the less "popular" the country it is in terms of offers , the higher CTRs.
I think that's because they haven't been exposed so much to the typical affiliate offers.
They are what the US countries used to be 3-4 years ago.
keep testing.. reach WAAAY outside the box. Go wild with your creativity. The rules/fake articles/blogs landing pages didn't just come out of thin air..
Also, look at some of creatives that are getting higher CTRs / CVRs.. look for trends.. maybe 2 performing creatives share a common element
You can also try doing a brainstorming session in a follow-along if that helps your development
