Tracking SEO conversions comparison website

Hey guys,

Before I start with paid traffic I tought it was a good idea to learn how to properly track my SEO sites which are already making money.

My website basically looks like this:
The landing page => user clicks trough => user has a choice of which type of comparison (7 types) => user clicks trough => sortable comparison table with around 10 affiliate offers.

How do I go about and track my commisions?

Can I use cpvlab? Is it possible to track converting keywords from free Search or is that only possible with adwords. What else should I track?

Yeah it's pretty easy. You can assign a unique subid to each product and append it to each product link, very simple with most trackers. When you run reports it will show your converting subids.

Unfortunately with the new Google changes to keywords it may be tricky to track which ones are converting, but you can certainly get a lot of insight by installing something like CPVLab to track your funnel.

It won't be as simple a setup as most paid traffic tracking, though - there's likely to be a bit of fiddling around and reading through the CPVLab manual to do! However, once you've got the hang of this tracking paid traffic should be a piece of cake.
