What is an 'ask' in a CPA campaign?

Hi, all.
I'm signing on to promote a new CPA campaign and the account manager asked me 'what is your ask?' I punted the question until I speak to him, but I have no idea what this means... Is it the percentage per sale? The amount of money per action? Help this newbie please... Thanks!

Sounds like your AM is trying to Wall Street you... In that case - your Ask is your price. What are you asking them to pay? Or in this case, what you'll sell a lead/conversion for..? What are you asking for it? What is the price you're charging?

Or, Simply:

Your Ask = CPA you want to be paid

You gotta ask for it.

I've never even heard of it myself lol. No need to shy away from questions like that, just 'ask' what theyre talking about
