Do you give you aff network manager actual live link to landing page, or screenshot? (5)

Hey guys, question.. do you typically give your affiliate manager the actual link you are promoting when they ask to see your landing page for advertiser approval? ive always been able to get away with showing a screenshot of my campaigns..for my own paranoid reasons. Ive had someone ask me for the link in the past and i never dealt with them anymore assuming foul play (first days of IM I was super paranoid) ....but now that I think about it, I wonder if this is normal.

If they ask for a link, I give them a link. If they ask for a Screenshot, I'll give them a screenshot.

If I'm hiding my LP for whatever reason then I'll throw it up on a different domain I don't really use and give them that link. I don't really like to hide my LP but sometimes its necessary to hide your domain for privacy reasons, eg the advertiser being able to look up your domain on WRW and effectively ousting you out via placements.

I'd imagine there are quite a few competitive intelligence tools for all traffic sources that can be manipulated in that respect by the advertiser (networks can pry too right?).. alteast I dont feel like Im the only one watching out for this. Thanks

I am pretty paranoid too, so unless its 100% required I will just show them a screnshot.

If you can do volume they will generally accept just a screenshot.

If they require the link, and you want to hide the domain, you can upload the LP to a generic domain that you own that's hosted on a different server.
