My aff. network has started ripping my campaign ?

Clues
- I got 2500 conversions from this click-flow offer in the last 3 months.
- Starting this morning i had only 20% of the traffic i usually get, even after increasing budget and bids on the 3 different traffic sources i was using
- This afternoon i received the hated "campaign pause" email

I have 2 guesses:
1 - see thread title
2 - other affiliates are trying to milk this offer on the last day and increased bids and budget, for this reason i get almost no traffic

What do you think guys ?

Assuming its your network is probably the last thing I'd think...unless you have a very unique landing page/angle ? you should not be worried about getting ripped.

Its much more likely that the offer was blocked due to it not being compliant - explains why your traffic stopped and also why the advertiser was forced to pull the offer. This happens a lot with recurring carrier billing - the complaints can be very HIGH especially on one-click flows.

Another thing to keep in mind is that when an offer is "hot" your network will push it to all their affiliates and often with one-click offers the targeting and traffic is so specific that there are only a few traffic sources to go to so your competition will be very high.

* Its also possible that your lander/ads where not compliant and got blocked - happens a quite a lot with sweeps

Question for you, is it an AU offer?

@deondup
thanks!

@lorenzo
It was a click flow for Italy

To be completely honest it doesn't sound like a network at all.

Most smart+big networks these days won't rip campaigns or even run anything themselves. It's not worth the risk of the longterm business for them. It's probably something more along the lines of what deondup said.

Does any other network have the offer and is it paused there as well?

Update:

On Nov. 23th the AM at the main aff.network where i was running this campaign wrote me that this offer is now paused because the adv. would like to update all of their offers, they'll have a few new ones going live soon.
I checked and the offer is paused also for other affiliates at this networks. They have direct relationship with this advertiser so hopefully my AM's reply is correct.

BTW
today I found the same offer still available and live at another smaller aff.network. However it has lower payout and it's brokered through a couple of redirects

Then just follow the redirects and see who are they brokering it from.

Maybe it's time you go direct
