Hey guys!
So, I'm debating what tutorials / articles to write next, after finishing off the mammoth task that is the Getting Started Guide.
So I want to know what the most useful tutorial would be for you right now.
I've made a shortlist from suggested tutorials over the past few months.
What tutorial would you find most helpful from the above list? Feel free to pick several if you like them equally.
If there's something else that you'd love to see that isn't on there yet, let me know below!
Note: this doesn't include either the super-affiliate interviews I'm working on or the indexes for STM, both of which are happening separately!
I could really use one for photoshop lol
There are several online, but they don't really pertain to what we do.
Your tutorials are awesome btw... can't believe how much I've learned from them so far!
I would vote for "CDN Setup Tutorial" .
When I first started using CDNs I remember I lost nearly a day trying to figure out how it worked.
Sweet, can't wait!
Damn I should really get cracking on that LP coding post. It's going to be a long one.
I've been waiting for this one. Will you stop making money for a couple of hours and finally write up a post. lol
Look forward to your guide bro.
I wouldn't mind seeing more case studies / guides by Jordan, Green, and Bes
Outsourcing guide. How to find a good VA, what type of tasks to give them, what you should pay ect...
@clubdrock
I'm writing a mini one right now!
OK, thanks for the votes, everyone!
How To Come Up With Ideas For Campaigns, Angles And Copy, Photoshop For Affiliates: Banners, LPs, Automation and Advanced LP tricks: responding to user input, lightboxes, animation etc are way ahead of the pack, so I'll get onto them in the next few weeks.
Look for an article on some very cool things you can do with LPs using modern Web technologies early next week! Plus, I'm going to write the long-awaited "how to make pro photos look amateur" tutorial...
Second the Adv LP tactics - usual squeezes aren't doing too well for me in FB these days.
Ran a poll on my blog as well and here's the results. Hope this helps anyone writing content as well.
Keep in mind I have a lot of veteran readers so take that with a grain of salt.

@smaxor - cool, thanks, that's very interesting.
Growing from an affiliate to a longer term affiliate or affiliated related business is becoming more and more popular. I know too many affiliates these days who did a lot of volume years ago and are doing other things now. It seems to be a popular topic right now.
@andyvon - should be very similar. The only significant difference is that one of them uses MyISAM and one of them uses INNODB, but I don't think that'd make much difference for backing up. Of course, the table formats are different, but mysqldump doesn't care about that...
Not really a guide but I'd love see one of those "A day in the life of an affiliate" kind of posts from the ballers here.
I'd be curious on what "non ballers" think a balling day in the life of an affiliate would be like
^^ Agreed.
The biggest benefit for me is ultimate flexibility. I do work hard, but I don't have to.
^
On this forum it seems most people have a very similar vibe, its not the same as the whole industry as my FB is clogged with watches/cars/bottles lol but this forum really tends to focus on freedom/travel and it definitely shows with the admins
I don't think any material possessions is going to make you happy if thats your goal, a working day in the life of big affiliates is probably even more boring then the noobie marketers haha, but when time comes for work to stop, well then its a pretty great existence
I think the perception of super affiliates has really changed. A few years ago it was all about the super cars and being flashy. Those guys are either gone from the industry, or have matured. I've shied away from doing "lifestyle" kinda posts on my blog because you enter another kind of rat race.
Now a baller affiliate is probably someone that has freedom, and is trying to branch out from relying on just affiliate income.
Absolutely true ^^.
The mindstate of an affiliate is headed in a much better direction lately
