Set from $200/day budget to $1/day vs pause?

Hello

I know everyone don't recommend me to pause.

I read in the forum and also heard from people they advised me to set budget (say existing campaign A $200/day budget) to $1/day budget.

So I tried.

I have this campaign A.

Inside this I have an ad that is doing 0.2% ctr with cpc $0.04. Because I have to go overseas for 2 weeks, I set this campaign budget to $1/day.

After I come back from overseas, I set this campaign back to $200/day budget.

I noticed nothing moved. Even I have a high CTR and low CPC, but it's not spending money. I tried to increase bids by $0.01 or up to $0.05, still not moving. Until I increase around $0.08 - $0.10, then I can see movement. However the CPC will go up together.

Note: I tested on all 10 - 15 campaigns, all seeing same issues.

So what should I do? If I pause these campaigns, I heard this will kill my ads.

If I kill and add back these ads, I may not get approved for the same images. Facebook sometimes has mood.

Note: Even setting to $1/day budget, it's still a lot if I have 100 campaigns running. That like burned $100/day x 2 weeks for no reasons.
Note: I tried virtual desktop service but the performance is really bad when accessing them over a 10MB internet. Very laggy. So I have no ways to access my Facebook. I believe Facebook tracks via IP address (not sure will this be an issue when I am in a different country, in case they thought is VPN).

Any tips from the expert?

How many days passed with the restored-budget campaigns not spending money? It may simply have been Facebook lag time.

Hmm, that should have been long enough to get past it.

Yes, FB has been introducing new algo changes recently that seem to hit frequent bid changes most of all. See http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ivery-Problems . I don't know if that's what is causing your issues, but it could be.

Anyone? There might be something Real Obvious I'm missing here.
