Hello
Currently when I target a specific age group e.g. 25 - 29 at Facebook, I don't specify specific keyword interests for Germany or France (example).
Yes I have more target customers e.g. 500,000 people.
However I noticed at certain particular time in the day, it will take up 60% of my budgets with 0 conversions. I couldn't find a way to day part a campaign (i'm using the manual way to upload ads).
I have conversions for my campaigns. But I am not getting a lot of them. I really wonder how those succeed in non english countries do at Facebook Ads.
I also read this post here http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-suddenly-stop and it seems Facebook will sometimes send useless traffic.
Questions,
a) How can I optimise my campaigns better? I would like to daypart but I could find that feature. I noticed I can set datetime but it has a start date and end date.
if i set this
start date (today) 9 am
end date (year 2020) 9 a.m.
isn't that considered running 24 hours/day
b) How could I prevent Facebook to send me useless traffic?
c) Should I target some keywords interests? Would this be a good approach?
Any tips for the community? Thanks.
a) you could daypart manually...pause and unpause traffic, or adjust campaign budgets. If you want to do it with a program you can use an API tool like http://www.qwaya.com/
b) There is no such thing as "useless" traffic. Maybe you should turn that useless traffic into good traffic with better ads, landing pages, and offers.
c) You can try keyword interests. The problem is it'll lower your volume quite a bit.
There is such a useless traffic and that is why if you increase the budget before midnight, facebook will kich her ass to consume that budget till the midnight by placing your ads in useless spots in their inventory. The best approach is to control your conversion by your camp budgets not by pausing/unpausing ads. You either need to use some API like the one dr ngo mentioned or do it manually.
