Why Antivirus campaign disapproved?

Hello STM,

I am new to PPV, and started with LeadImpact and run 2 games campaigns, but stop them as I was not getting good conversion.

I started an antivirus campaign of McAfee as I found and offer which was giving big discount on McAfee right on McAfee site.

I added few keywords, and all those keywords were disapproved. Now I don’t know why this campaign was disapproved. Is it was because of keywords or offer or branding?

LeadImpact email message tells: "The landing page is promoting a prohibited downloadable application."

I don't know how McAfee products can be prohibited downloadable application?

I am listing those keywords; please help me to find why that campaign not worked.

Haha maybe McAfee tells users to uninstall leadimpact's toolbar. I understand why they wouldn't like it.

Are you actually promoting Mcafee? They just may not trust thats what your truly advertising

Try submitting again and direct link the offer.

I think LI lost a good part of their user base because of those "you got a virus" style landers

May be the case.

I was direct linking.

Yeah affs possibly used that direct link as the cloaked version of their page.

Probably they are running similar offer to those targets.

It's on their guidelines and it will never get approved unless cloaked.

Antivirus is something that really damages them so if they catch you it's an instant ban.

I wouldn't risk unless you can bank from it.
