Confused - Which CPC is Right?

Okay, so I am confused on what to bid. Creating the ad shows my cpc is $.98 to $1.29. After the ad is created, when you click on the ad the price under the targeting shows $1.35 - $2.40 and when you click to edit the actual cpc bid it shows $1.89 to $2.84. So which of these figures do I trust?

When I refresh, I see the pricing under targeting and the edit the cpc increases to $1.86 to $3.34?

Beginning to think they are jacking up prices at random just to get the cpc increased!

well nothing really matters till you have traffic flowing......is just a best guess based upon fb's algo

Thanks for the help? Another question, other than ctr is there any other way to get cpc down?

not really.....the first 1-2k imps are most important though as far as helping to lower the cpc.....

Matt, the lowest CPC fb told you to run was $.98, so try running at that and see if you get traffic, if not up it to the next one. Sometimes all the suggested prices are the same for me, other times i see all diff ones like you mentioned above.

This is what I ended up doing and the cpc that got traffic was the 2nd option. So now I am working on getting a better ctr.
