CPV Lab

I'm looking to invest in a tracking software and have only heard of CPV Lab so far. Are there any other tracking software that are just as good or better at tracking? Perhaps have a better interface? What tracking software are you currently using?

Depends what you are looking to track. Propser202 is a solid option too.

At the moment just CPA offers and LPs. I gave Prosper a try, but have heard that CPV Lab has a better interface.

What traffic sources are you using? At the moment, your choice of tracker is, a lot of the time, dictated by what traffic source you're on.

Hi Caurmen, I'm using TrafficJunky at the moment and possibly Exo.

With adult traffic, the regular prosper or the STM Mobile prosper (it's not just for mobile) is good enough to get campaigns going.

CPVLab does have a better way of organizing your campaigns in the dashboard though

Agreed! The STM Mobile Tracker is actually very good for adult. Has lots of useful tracking stuff like geolocation and LP rotation built in.

CPVLab has, arguably, a slightly nicer interface - depends how much of a dent it'll make in your budget and how much you like the interface.

There's a lot of new work happening in the tracker space right now, so it might be better to use Prosper / STM Tracker for a few months and see what's around in the New Year.

If you're just getting started, the STM mobile tracker is powerful enough. I've been using it for mobile and web based campaigns for a long time now. You will eventually find some stuff where it might be lacking, but it's definitely a very good tracker.

I don't think he necessarily meant any STM related stuff, but over the last couple of months a bunch of new tracking solutions popped up like Voluum, iMobiTrax, AdultAdsPro etc.

So while for a long time P202 and CPV Lab were pretty much the only 2 obvious options you had, the landscape is definitely changing.

I heard somewhere that CPVLab is going to be updating with mobile capabilities and campaign-level redirects.

Don't take my word for it though

They've gone a long time since updates, and won't commit via email to when the mobile update is happening.

Give Voluum a try..

It's free and works with both mobile and ppc.
It has all the functionality of 202 and cpvlab.

It's not self hosted however.
