What is Kiip?
Kiip is a mobile rewards network. We reward moments of achievement in mobile apps. So a free propel sample after you finish your run, an AMex gift card when you finish your to-do list, or a free MP3 when you beat level 5 in a game.
How is this different than an ad network? No impression is simply an impression, it is the presentation of a reward — a free trial, product discount, or exclusive content. Our traffic is higher quality than any other mobile network. Users expect quality with Kiip, and as a result we see CTRs between 4%-15%. Crazy performance for mobile.

Offers that perform well on Kiip
Free trials of high-quality subscription services dominate. Hulu, Shoemint, Netflix, etc.
Mobile apps that can give sign-up offers also perform very well — think $10 off your first Uber ride.
Commerce companies that have mobile-optimized sites have shown returns as well. Credits and discounts work best ($5 credit, 25% off, etc).

All measures are Monthly Active Users. We value unique monthly users over impressions because a user will only see your offer 3 times. Why? If they don't redeem the offer after the third impression, there is less than a 0.1% it will be redeemed. It's a waste of impressions.

One thing that's worth clarifying is the user flow once a user has clicked on the offer. Our standard ad unit pre-pops the user's email and then the offer is then emailed to them. The benefits of this flow are that you can run web offers (we've seen web-based stuff perform really well), and users can claim the reward at a later time when they're ready. Mobile users typically have short attention spans so for a free trial signup or something along those lines this flow can work better.
BUT, if you're running a mobile offer, it may make more sense to direct link. We can work with you to make sure we're using an ad unit appropriate to the offer.
