Optimization aka getting "paused'. What are ways to avoid this?

This could apply to all categories but it seems this is the busiest section, so I'll ask here.

How can I conduct my lead generation in a way that makes a great return in sales for advertisers?

Copy?

Image?

LP?

Age?

Gender?

Depends on thee vertical.

Dating:
** gender doesn't matter if they're backing out. Some advertisers will take a loss on female leads.
** LP/copy: don't use the word free.
** image: doesn't matter IMO. Get the horny clicks and hit them with logic on the LP.
**age: if you deliver leads that back out, it's all good. Send 35+ for everything to stay safe.

You forgot NETWORK. If shitty affiliates send shitty traffic from Network A, after a while the advertiser profiles the network and scrubs more by default to keep profitability. Network B, much harder to get into and with good rep/clout on the advertiser's side, will deliver a better EPC from the get-go, ensuring beginner affiliates don't start desperately using "free" and promising too much, which gets them a higher EPC momentarily before they get pulled and the network's reputation is dragged further in the mud.

Thank you redrummr.

Vertical I work is dating.

Some advertisers will take a loss on female leads.
By this do you mean us the publishers?

I should mix in, what 25% ads, into females to help my advertiser's sales?

Do people target females on Casual Dating offers?

I don't know anybody that targets females with casual dating offers.

If your leads back out there's no reason to mix in females.

The actual dating companies take a loss to get female leads a lot of the time... To keep ratios respectable.

@Kevins

Avoid females , the way casual dating sites are build, females don't have to pay for it.

So the advertiser is losing 100% of what he's paying you for female traffic.

The only time you can do this is when they specifically ask you for female signups ( generally when their male / female ratio goes down ).

Does using a "Rules" LP or one that states space is limited, or that a ratio of males to females is enforced, effect the lead quality negatively?

There's a bunch of threads on this but to recap some of the main things:
- Target ages 30+
- If your targeting RON then use images of older people/women in the ads which will usually attract older men
- Don't say free
- Be relatively honest within the ad
