Lead Impact Keywords and Urls Help Needed.

JUst watching a tutorial video for Leadimpact. The guy has entered a huge list of URLS. He also has each url broken down like this:

somedomain.com
somedomain.c
/somedomain
//somedomain.co
//somedomain.com
//somedomain.c
w.somedomain.com
ww.somedomain.com
&somedomain
&somedomain.c
&somedomain.com

Also I see keywords like this

first* word

Can anyone explain what this means? Sorry I am completely new to PPV. And also, what other ways are there to modify and input keywords and URLS and what affect do they have?

Thanks

I believe the asterisk is just a space between 2 words. So for example "credit report" would go through the system as "credit*report"

The asterisk stands for "any single character", including whitespaces. So "first*word" will trigger for "first word", "first.word", "first_word", "firstXword" etc.

Does anyone know what the trailing "." eg: domain.com. which you must use for adult traffic does? What effect does this have?

I think by "ending period" they mean dot before "com" in ".domainname.com" (not just domainname). The first dot (or forward slash) is required by obvious reason, domainname.com could match otherdomainname.com (which can be not an adult site).

ahhh!! thanks alot. I listed all of my urls like this:

.pornsite1.com.
.pornsite2.com.

etc etc

I wondered why I only got 1 hit despite being top bidder on 50 of the biggest sites!
