After taking a break from IM im getting back in the field. I used Beyond Hosting in the past and all the VPN account are currently sold out except for the starter package. My plan is to start again with POF since this is what i was trying to tackle before and pretty much just gave up.

My budget is about 1k a month and all traffic will be from POF.

mediatemple is a good 'starting point ' host because you can scale up as your campaigns get bigger..
once mediatemple explodes u need a more serious solution.....

Any managed option for $50/month should do the trick. POF ain't a source you really need colossal hosting for.

Don't go with MediaTemple right now, IMO - whilst they used to be great, they just got bought by GoDaddy, and people are leaving them in droves...
