Sorry to post another problem i'm having with prosper but i have a campaign running with quite a few conversions but subid tracking isn't working and cant work out which banners and LP's are working.
This is what i think the process is and how i'm implementing it to see if someone can spot the problem.
So in campaign setup i set my link as http://network/?a=1111&c=22222&s1=campaign name&s3=[[subid]] ,passing the campaign as s1 and subid as s3
When i test this link the campaign name appears in the network s1 field but in the s3 field there is just [[subid]]
When i test my full prosper link again the campaign name appears but there is noting in the s3 field
any ideas anyone ?
Hmm, that's very strange. We'll get it figured out, though!
First thing that occurs to me: is your campaign name one word or two words? Any spaces in the URL might cause wierd things to happen.
Also, what happens if you just include the s3 variable in your link and test the Prosper link? In other words, rather than the URL you've used in campaign setup, just use
http://network/?a=1111&c=22222&s3=[[subid]]
Hi Caurman thx for taking a look
My campaign name is a single 4 digit alphabetic word
if i remove the s1 as above then again [[subid]] appears in the s3 field - by the way its a cake setup
That is a little weird. Here's some options:
Try reordering it:
http://network/?a=1111&c=22222&s3=[[subid]]&s1=campaign name http://network/?s3=[[subid]]&a=1111&c=22222&s1=campaign name
http://network/?a=1111&c=22222&s1=campaign name&s2=[[subid]]
Seems like a setup/usage issue.
I haven't heard of this happening. My guess is that you are not using the link from step #7?
What version of p202 are you using, older versions of prosper202 didn't have [[subid]]
Nana! What's up man?? Long time no talk.
How's everything going?
Hi Jasper! Yeah been a while, all is well. You?
Great to see you on the forum.
For all of you who don't know, Jasper's mods have been a big part of P202.
