I am working on reworking my approach to my campaigns with fresh original angles and would like the keep the theme consistent on through to the offer.
I would assume that it is best to have the lander copy matching up with the banner copy. If I am initially testing several banner angles would I need to have tightly matching lander copy for each?
Would it be best to use a more generic lander until I can determine which angle might be worth expanding on and potentially break the flow?
Does anyone have any tips on this?
I'd pretty much always recommend a new lander for a new angle. You can just copy an existing one and change the text and maybe the image if appropriate.

You could use a generic lander, but it's not giving the banner angles the best chance for success. For example:
Banner #1: Meet White Chicks
Banner #2: Meet Asian Chicks
Banner #3: Meet Milfs
Generic LP: Meet girls in your area. (Pictures of white/asian/milf chicks?)
For the sake of saving time, you could just put a generic LP if you're just looking to see which banners are getting clicks and a decent CTR. Then build out appropriate LPs. I don't think the conversion data will be as insightful though.
Thanks for your input guys.
Thinking I'm going to do something more in between. I'm going to do small batches of banner angles that will share a lander that is relevant to a common theme between them. I'll then take the winner of those and make a super relevant lander for the winner.
Cool - looking forward to hearing how it works out!
