Help With CPVLab Setup

Hi,

Does anyone here have some time to help me set up CPVLab correctly?

I have a SiteScout account and have CPVLab as my tracker.

My networks at the moment that I'm working with are Market Health and Maxbounty.

I'm in the process of applying for more networks.

I need help with setting up CPVLab correctly for landing pages and direct offers.

I've tried to follow the CPVLab setup tutorial on STM by caurman but still get confused

I'm committed to making this work so I'll be around for a while...

I'm based in Australia but can be available for whatever time suits you best.

You should have received a user guide with CPV lab? Also, CPV labs support is awesome if you get stuck.

It's really easy to setup direct linking and lp campaigns but hit me up on Skype if you can't figure it out - Kai_Tsa

I really appreciate the offer.

The part that confuses me is all the postback stuff and firing pixels correctly.

I have tried following the CPVLab guide as well.

Everyone here seems to figure it out so easily, maybe I'm over thinking or just very slow to figure it out - lol.

I've tried it in the past but not sure if I was doing it correctly so I never trusted the results in CPVLab.

Again, I really, really appreciate the offer to help. It's been so frustrating and I don't have anyone to nut things out with or someone to show me - that's how I learn best.

I've taught myself a lot of stuff but for some reason, the media buying setup has really got me stumped.

I'll have another crack at it...

If you're running with SiteScout, it's actually a reasonably sensible approach to not bother with a tracker and just use their conversion pixel.

They won't let you rotate landing pages anyway (or at least, wouldn't the last time I dealt with them), so you have to run one LP per campaign, so just about all the stats you need are accessible with a bit of adding up straight from the SS interface.

However, if you still want to use CPVLab, I'm happy to help. Postbacks can be a bit of a bitch - have you talked to your affiliate network about them? Postback stuff often varies by affiliate network, so your AM is usually a good person to ask for advice.

(I'm guessing you've read the Postback Guide already?)

For MaxBounty, use their URL Callback:

Make sure you're passing the subid to s1 in your affiliate link, if you use #S1# in the postback URL:

Yeah, I've read the Postback Guide.

I might just use the SiteScout conversion pixel for now, thanks for the recommendation. I'll still try and set it up with CPVLab taking onboard...
