I recently had an ad campaign denied by mMedia because it was promoting "Win an iPad" and they don't allow any "Click to win x" type campaigns on their network.
Any advice here? Should I just go scan the terms of service for various ad networks and try and find one that allows it? Do they even exist? I'm guessing they must if there's a mobile offer for it.
A lot of networks allow "you could win" style creatives. Try buzzcity, mobfox, incrowdads.
Inmobi is also pretty popular for these kind of campaigns. Give it a go.
You could also do you best to come up with angles to get around the rules.
Your ads and landing pages don't have to necessarily give away ipad right away. Maybe at first its just a really neat contest/questionaire with a mysterious prize at the end.
A bit of a dark grey angle is. Try another prize in your ads like "win a luxury cruise". Use any prize that will appeal to your demographic. On your lander mention you are out of stock for that prize, but they can settle for a secondary prize like an iPad. This draws high CTRs, as well as credibility due to that unbelievable prize being out of stock.
