P202 Question

Been quietly plugging away and applying as much as I can. No successful campaigns yet. However I have been seeing some weird strings in my Prosper202 targets.

Does anyone know what it means when you get "jfDAJiejDAJiajkdajkfdkI+ajfijP6" as a target?

Never seen that one. If they are just testing its usually just "test". Maybe they are brokering out again I dunno?

I have seen this - mostly with text links - I am assuming that you used {keyword} ? try using %%KEYWORD%%

I've seen that happen before but I'm not sure what causes it. I'll have to ask my business partner, it was always his TV traffic that that happened to.

buckeyefan - You're right I am using the {KeyWord} variable instead of %%KEYWORD%%. So are these actually people? It has only recently started to happen I've been using the {KeyWord} variable for a while so, I was wondering if I'm paying for pops I don't want to be paying for.

Yes - it is actual people . I just hate when I get a conversion with all of that crap . Stick with the %%KEYWORD%% and you should be okay . I have never seen that string in my CPV Lab and it defaults to %%KEYWORD%% - I use 202 when i do TL and always used to use {keyword} so that what i assumed caused issue .

Dunno what happened, but it seems that TV has made the %%KEYWORD%% token obsolete because it is no longer returning dynamic keywords, all I'm getting is %%KEYWORD%%, to top it off all off I'm still getting random keyword strings which I'm not sure what it's tied to (Diaj3DAFDAJ39=+_)9dj/adajfdadajkjei), one thing I noticed in my spy view, whenever I get a random keyword string the referral is always from s04.cltrda.com. Also another I'd like to ad is I'm bidding on keywords not urls, which I have done in the past and never had an issue.

If those extra little tidbits helps to find a solution, I would really be appreciative, this campaign could very well be my first profitable campaign if I optimize but I can't tell which keywords to weed out to do so .

You should replace %%Keyword%% with {keyword} and it should work fine.

That's the default token now.

I'll try the bbrock32, I have been originally been using {KeyWord} and that has been causing issues as well. I noticed that you recommended all lowercase, which I haven't tried, here's me hoping that it fixes the issue.

In the event that it doesn't work should I just do a reinstall of prosper202 as a last resort?

Hmm , I use TV and never had any problems using {keyword}.

I dont think P202 is the prob , it displays the keyword being passed by TV.
