it didn't work for me... I set my CPV Lab login page as the URL to monitor and it kept telling me it was offline every couple minutes.
After having a nervous breakdown and speaking to BeyondHosting support, they said that it's most likely a DNS issue and sent me proof that my server was in fact online the whole time.
They suggested to use the free tools from Pingdom instead.
Hmm, that's interesting. I wonder what happened? Some kind of firewall issue?
