I've got a very good image that did a CTR of 0.512% yesterday on 80.000 impressions, but still I pay 0.25$ per click. I started bidding $0.5. Today, I manually lowered the bid to the max. suggested bid of 0.06$ and now my campaign got fucked by Facebook. What's wrong with them? Even with such a high CTR i can't manage to come below the cpc of my 0.15-0.2% ads..
maybe the targeting is very competitive? i'm starting high, then lowering by like 3 cents and watching volume and ctr's.
It's just the way it is - terrible algorithm but it must work for Facebook's shareholders. Try again and again bro, you'll get there and work out your own little patterns/methods.
Lower the cpc bid. Also try duplicating the ad several times with smaller budgets (to keep the frequency down) along with the decreased bid. I would start at .50 with smaller budgeted campaigns and lower it down to .30 or .35.
