Don't Use Anything Sex-Related For Interest Targetting

As the title says.

Just submitted two ads for a perfectly clean dating site but selected "sexual intercourse" and related interests for the targeting. BAM, 5 minutes later, 200 ads retro-disapproved.

I feel like writing these guys and pointing out their retartedness in having those options available for selection, but don't want to risk the account ban.

So be careful out there bros.

Facebook has been absolutely nuts lately. Anything stuff for me that is clean ends up getting retro'd in under 24hr's if the CTR is high enough.

they need to crackdown.. every other advert in my account is cloaked these days .. if you select single, and some interests that will bring the ads for types of offers in your network.. as a business, they need to get a grip on it.. I'm not against it, just seeing from their point of view,

Nothing screams "I'm not a performance marketer" like uploading 200 ads in a day.

I believe the "interested in" and "relationship status" fields are not part of the above. I think you genuinely messed up. Even moreso if you're targeting men, they are all horny... no idea what you were thinking when you made these ads.

I uploaded 4 ads that day, the other 196 were retros of ads that were perfectly clean (not targeting sex-related interests, no racy pics, targeting single users interested in the opposite sex). In retrospect it was a little risky but the only thing I did that would possibly be against their guidelines was implying that the user were *not* asexual (by way of me targeting people who were interested in sex, which is the vast majority of the userbase even if sex is not explicitly selected as an interest).

On another account I had some cleavage pics retro'd so it does seem like they are on a mission, however questionably executed.

It's still mandatory to select "Interested in" and "relationship status" for dating ads.

Being thanked 254 times in 109 posts is all well and good but I don't imagine that's one of your better posts buddy...

I did come off rude. Thought you had uploaded a lot of ads in the same day (something I believe leads to account reviews).

Your targeting doesn't make any sense to me but that doesn't mean it won't make you $$$. If you want to desperately use this targeting, you can camouflage it in other interests (like 20-30 low-audience interests (<100 people for example), so they don't actually gobble up your ad impressions). This is what I do when I want to get a certain gambling campaign approved which gets me 500% ROI from day 1 - but results in account ban a few days later lol (I am not subtle with my ads...).

NOTE: some groups flag automatically, but not all do. I'm willing to bet interests with "sex" in the name flag automatically so you can't do any camouflaging like I described.

PS: nobody cares about the "thanks" thing... not sure why you would even go there, seems childish bro. Make money and stop worrying about a few unfiltered words in the entrepreneurial world...

Sexual intercourse isnt the best targeting idea for dating.

Its an option for much more SFW related stuff i'd say. Such as sex education books, etc...
