mobile app networks/pay per install??

posting this for one of my buddies...


I am an app developer and marketer. Currently I have several hundred apps on google play(not counting almost 700 more uploaded into other android networks) Currently I make the majority of my income from several advertisers such as airpush, revmob..etc---with interstitials...video ads and banners. I am currently really unhappy with how little I am paid with these networks. I get almost 25,000 installs a day to my apps. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how I can possibly offer my installs direct to the advertiser at say 50 cents per install for example? Are there any companies or people that can offer me an exclusive deal on my installs?


Anyone??

Nice! This guy must be doing well if he's doing 25,000 installs a day and he can profit off paying 50 cents per install.

What is the app. I could be interested.

I think he is expecting YOU to pay HIM 50c / install....for advertising rights inside his apps

L.... only costs are app dev... and some minor promoting... making youtube vids.... uploading the apps etc.

so most of the $$ is profits.

pretty sure hes looking for other ways to monatize his shit.... the networks are paying him crap.

any ideas?

Chartboost, Appia, Mobbnet - depending on how good the quality of your apps are you can get as much as $5 CPI's.

There are many more but these are the 3 I know. One thing to keep in mind if you sell installs instead of just selling your impressions is that you could potentially make far less because it requires an action from the user. It often takes a different approach with the app itself and having more strategic placements of ads is essential. Chartboost has some good tips and recommendations.

You can also go with Tapjoy and do incentive stuff - it can be very profitable around $0.50 per incentivized install

I looked at Tapjoy but did not see anything about the affiliate program. Are they now defunct? Any suggestions about good places to find incentive offers?
