hello,
I am constantly testing images to see which ones are the best. Does it matter what time you run the ads (images)? Like time of day. In the initial testing phase. Any feedback would be great!

Are you asking whether there is a difference in ad performance depending on what time of day you start the campaigns/unpause ads? Probably. It will depend on demo/vertical though. Some people say dating ads work best at X times of day (e.g. outside work hours) so it's better to launch them then, but in the end you really need data across multiple days at all hours so you wouldn't day-part initially - can't hurt to leap out the gate though.
This is going to be influenced by many factors so in the end it's better to test it yourself and make your own judgements, get a feel for how the ads perform for that kind of campaign in that country in that demo etc. Try duping a few camps with the same ads and launching one in the morning, one at midday, one in the late arvo, see how they end up doing.
okay thanks for the reply. Basically I'm asking if it matters a lot when I have images/creative's running to see the overall performance of that image/creative. Not whether converting or not.
regards,
Brian
You should turn your campaigns on at the start of the account timezone day so you get a true value for cpc. If you set it live towards end of day fb will rush to spend your budget in the remaining time and to me this is not a fair test and would probably make you pause the campaign with no other thought.
