starting my campaign for the newbie contest and waiting for keyword approvals to go through...
I am targeting a particular reality show that has a huge fan base. As a newbie to PPV would it be difficult for me to just upload a SHITLOAD of urls/keywords and see what sticks, or just use a couple of the big ones to keep track of things easier and get data faster?
Jersey Shore
?
I'm a fan of getting a couple of big ones and get those to work. You learn a lot faster that way.
Yep. MrGreen is spot on. If your starting out get only a couple of targets. I normally don't make a decision on a target until it has had atleast 50 views.
So in an extreme case
if you had say 1000 targets, x 50, on lead impact so x o.o15 = $750
Add to that the additional variations if your running multiple landers and multiple offers - you need a large testing budget yo test properly.
So don't just scrape tons of targets and see what sticks. That Is a sure fire way to loose money. Be more targeted, remove targets that make obviously no sense or are unrelated to your angle. Also aim for targets with decent volume. I'm not talking high volume top 10k sites cause that will eat your budget in no time.
Hope this helps
haha well I guess I should go through my 1600 urls/keywords and and narrow it down
and its American Idol, I was planning on doing jersey shore next haha... I really think that reality show targets could do amazingly, its amazing how passionate people get about those things... (Like my girlfriend and her family)
quick question, is it possible to target peoples twitters, for example twitter.com/americanidol or even facebook pages?
