I'm in the process of pivoting my business model from pure arbitrage to email marketing.
Currently I just arbitrage with mainstream and adult dating. It still pays well.. but not knowing where my money's coming from a month from now is doing work to my hairline.
I'm looking for a buddy or two that wants to join me for idea sharing and general support. Don't really care if you're new or a pro, just as long as you're up for it. Big masterminds always die because nobody knows or trusts each other so I'm confident we can make some serious progress here!

Building a list is something that I really want to start doing. I very rarely see landers on the Adult self-serve networks that have an email opt-in.
How do you go about monetizing your leads anyways? Do you just send them to a new dating offer every month or something? Send them to PUA products? Do you pretend like you got laid from this cool new site! In my mind it seems like this might not add much value to the readers and people would just unsubscribe from your list after a couple of emails. How is lead quality from email lists if its just people signing up for all the free membership sites month after month? Seems like they would get burnt out and not turn into converting leads for the merchant?
I run most of my campaigns in international countries. Do you collect leads in say DE and FR then email them in English and hope they can read it? Or have emails translated to the native language? It could prove difficult to email them effectively if not fluent in the native country's language/slang.
I've never tried email marketing for adult, this is just some of the concerns I have. No doubt some people have probably figured it out and are making big bucks off it. Next time I see an opt-in I'm signing up with my spam email to see how they monetize it.
I just started and don't have the data to make any claims yet haha. But I'll try to answer as best I can.
I too rarely see optin forms on dating landers.. but I think it's very possible to monetize lists this way. One thing you can count on is that most of the guys who opt in on from these sources are not getting laid and are willing to take a little action and do something about it.
I built an email series that targets that particular trait. I plan on building trust by giving them lots of free information and throwing an offer in there every once in a while since I'm such a good guy and I'm willing to "help them out" with something they might like.
As for lead quality- I'm sure it will suck if I just spam them with new dating sites every week. But I'm sending a mix of offers, most being CPS so I'll get a good idea of the quality once I get some data under my belt.
I too do mostly international but I'm starting this with english speaking countries. If it works I can always hire translators and find appropriate offers for the international crowd.

Or one or multiple of you could think bigger.....
Create a auto-responder series and hone it. Then become the service provider to all these guys running dating. Have them post their emails into you and do a revshare with them. Then you have a business that's a win/win for everyone.

Smaxor this is a incredibly awesome idea but due to the copy + paste nature of adult may be tricky to pull off. Whats to stop the motivated affiliate from, opting in to the list himself, ripping the auto-responder series and implementing it for his own campaigns and 100% profit? Nonetheless, a great idea.
