Should you scale banner themes?

If you find one banner that converts at a good percent, should you test a bunch of more variations of pics on that theme or just run all of your traffic through that one pic?

Should I start to test only variations of the 22a theme? Keep running the ads with lower conversions rates? Test new stuff altogether with 22a running in the background?

It seems like a little too early to tell i think, those stats could go either way.

But to answer your question, Generally when i find a good image i test it with different texts and then i once i have a winning text + image i create more with the same theme.

2 conversions is not actionable

If you find a banner that converts, you should definitely be adapting it and asking yourself... why? What's so special about it?

If it's the type of image, look for more images of that type. Bear in mind that it could be the type of woman used, the angle of the shot, the relevance to your angle...

Also keep in mind that if you use the same model in your banner AND landing page, conversions are likely to be higher. This can distort your view of the best images. Ideally you'd want to use matching images across banners and LPs, but it's not always possible. Especially if you're jacking your banners!

Either way, you definitely need more data before deciding anything about those banners...
