Double/Triple prices?

Hey all,

Has anyone noticed this start yesterday? All my campaigns across different geos & niches have either doubled or tripled in price?

Bigtime. CPM's are ridiculous right now on FB are mental. Has the XMAS silly season begun early?

Approaching end of the year and the big brands are going to increase their spending

It's either a mistake or Q4 like Ngo said has massive spending increases and new brands/companies coming in for the holidays. Expect Nov to go fully batshit. If it recommends 3x the CPM though, you won't actually have to pay that, you can beat big brands CTR or you're not doing it right :P

A good CTR can be beaten with a high enough bid.

I think this is more of a mistake or intentional mistake to some degree.
We have seen a ton of our big facebook guys traffic dry up over night.

This is not related to big brands and the holidays just yet, way too early.

Yeah, most of my stuff is back online now. Not quite sure what happened!

OH well RIP news feed. Was good whilst it lasted.

Actually is this whole of news feed or just sponsored stories?

No wonder I have not seen many news feed ads!

From what I'm hearing they've changed their algorithm, so hopefully it'll settle back down within a few days/week.

An algorithm change??!! Everyone touch wood with crossed fingers while praying to the Palo Alto gods.

You are about the only one out of all the people I know.

Seems to be still going on...... I thought I had it figured out but tried something new today and flopping bad. I was coming from making 100 Percent ROI on a terrible day and 400 on a good day. I am lucky now to make 10 percent

This thread kind of died off.

Did everyone notice this to fix its self? The markets seem to be flooded with DR ads again, so my assumption is that it was a FB bug.

Tentatively prodding at adaptive behaviors to offset such changes
