Hey Guys,
Ive been making banners like crazy and trying to keep track of converting ones, ones with high ctr, etc...
Is there an easy way to do this?
After about 50 creatives, 3-4 different campaigns, suddenly your trying out 200 creatives... I feel lost trying to keep track of all of them between checking on TJ which ones have good ctr, and then going back to my tracking and seeing if they converted, etc... Is there a better way to do this than just going back and forth?

This might be far from optimal, but I keep a banner inventory in an Excel spreadsheet that I fill out each day with spend data from the traffic sources and revenue from CPVLab. It looks like this:

The rows get colored automatically based on rules I have defined (e.g. spend 2 x offer payout, no conversions ==> loser).
The "winners" get moved into an additional list where I rotate them daily.
I've messed around quite a bit trying to automate the whole process, but you still have to export multiple reports from your traffic sources and tracker, write a bunch of scripts etc. When I still didn't have a satisfying solution after hours of coding and testing, I just went back to filling it out manually for now.
I will look into automizing / outsourcing it again in the future once I hit a bottleneck, but right now my ressources are better spent elsewhere.
Great andy, that looks awesome! But, do you keep going back and forth to get revenue/P&L between your traffic source and tracker? Or do you have the traffic source tracking pixel so that TJ for instance tells you which banner is converting and which ones arent? Bc, i am debating using that at this point to track conversions per banner... IS that a good idea? Any downsides to using TJ's conversion pixel?
My AM, said that it wasnt a good idea to put two pixels in the same offer.... Dont know why
So, im like a chicken with its head cutoff going back and forth trying to see which converted, which has a high ctr, etc...
I just split up the process in 2 steps. First I fill out all the data I can get out of the traffic sources for all banners, then I add revenue stats from CPV Lab.
There is still a bunch of manual labour involved, but you don't have to switch between traffic source and tracker on a per-ad basis.
I meant to test the TJ conversion pixel for quite a while now, but didn't get around to actually doing it. I also created a thread for that issue here where besmir posted a pretty cool solution: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...For-Same-Offer
