"The holding company, which also houses internet sites such as adultfriendfinder.com, listed out estimated liabilities of $500 million to $1 billion and assets less than $10 million, according to a court filing."
DAMN!!

It was time , they were stuck in the 90s and already past their prime.
I made so much money with them in 2005ish. Can't complain, old timers though.
They used to OWN the space. Dating gold was there main competition. There weren't really landing page styles, or types. Everyone just took their banners which were the one sthat showed 4 profiles of girls, and then plopped them on their website or arbitrage site etc...
Not sure why they didn't keep up though, but they definitely had a run.
Ironic considering it's one of the few 'hookup' sites to actually deliver for its members!
Will be changing my remnant redirects pronto...
Well, damn.
Leaves an interesting hole in the market (or as the case may be, multiple holes
) for another legit "hookup" site to rise, though. It can't be that hard to put horny men and horny women (or horny couples and horny women, or horny women and other horny women) together via the Internet...
We also kicked off all our casual encounter/married users... so yes there will definitely be a void to fill once AFF goes under
In the wise words of Markus Frind:
"Intimate Encounters on POF can be summed up as a bunch of horny men talking to a bunch of horny men pretending to be women."

no clue how AFF stayed in biz
the site is FULL of bogus profiles, professionals and scammers.
ive always told my subscribers/clients to stay away from sites like that... pure garbage.
Heh, I actually got laid off AFF a few times back in the day.
Didn't have the best signal-to-noise ratio, though...
ok so thats not the reason
