Totally New to Pay Per Call, Should I add Country code Prefix ?

I got assigned a 877 *** *** toll-free number to promote.

I created a pay-per-call campaign and already got about 100 click-to-calls in my mobile adnetwork campaign, but i still see 0 new calls in Ringrevenue. In their FAQ i read "Reports are updated continuously. You'll be able to get up-to-the-minute results for each campaign, each phone number, and each affiliates" so probably something is wrong in my campaign setup.

Should I add the US prefix to this 877 number ??

I'd pause the campaign, Ringrevenue stats show up straight away. You say that a number was assigned to you? Generally you create your own number under 'Promo Numbers' in the Ringrevenue interface.

You do not need to add a US prefix.

I think i found the issue maybe ?
i wrote the number without the dashes 8778778777 instead of 877-877-8777

Could this be the problem ?

Where are you promoting this campaign? Adwords extensions should correct the use of dashes.

You shouldn't need to include the prefix. But, it will depend on where you are promoting this campaign.

Are they repeat callers? Most advertisers won't be for repeats within 30 days. But, in that case you'd have at least one "non-repeat" caller.

Add me on Skype if you want help diagnosing the issue - RingPartnerMike

I'm using inmobi, they aren't repeat callers because it was the first day ever for my PPCall campaigns.
i've added the +1 prefix and reactivated the campaign, let's see what happens today
Thank you

Just a little update about this issue
If you're using Inmobi to create a pay-per-call campaign you have to use the whole country code, no spaces and no dashes (e.g. 0018778778777)
Also (this was a suprise to me, but as i said before i'm a pay-per call newbie) don't expect 100 clicks to your campaign to be 100 incoming calls, in fact when the user clicks on your banner, the phones dial pad is populated with your number, and no phone calls are made (no matter if your number is toll-free or paid number).

Now I'm wondering if all traffic sources act this way (prepopulating instead of making the phone call). If you have any insight on this please enlighten me

Yes, you pay for the clicks regardless of whether the person follows through with the phone call. At least that's been my limited experience.
