Hey all,
Do you get charged Irish VAT (23%) if you use additional accounts as a person, rather than as a business?
Is there a work around? Our friends in the US/Canada for example pay no tax on their clicks.
Thanks,
Paul.
As far as I'm aware all invoices from IE > Outside IE (but inside EU) are 'zero rated' meaning the VAT is charged as 0%.

I use my ad account as a UK business and have it linked with my VAT number.
Facebook uses this number when they submit their quarterly EC sales list.
Hi Snipe, thanks for this.
I was wondering if users run multiple accounts how they get around this. The VAT number is an identifier and it would be a big risk using a single VAT number across multiple accounts.
Users outside the EU are not charged any VAT/sales tax on FB clicks, either personally, or through a business as far as I'm aware. Right now, this is a major competitive disadvantage for me.
UK/EU cloakers please help/PM me.
Thanks.
