Are there any general tips I should know for TrafficJunky bidding? I'm very low on the list of Bidders so I'm only getting 0.007% of the traffic even after I raised my bid from $0.40 to $0.70. I noticed a lot of bidders have $20,000 as their daily budget but mine is $110.. would this affect the amount of traffic I'm getting? I'm also using keywords to try and narrow down to people that would be interested in my angle but I don't see too many other people doing that.. Are keywords helpful on TrafficJunky?
If you're still in the testing phase you should definitely push your bid up to get a decent amount of traffic. Cheap traffic is great, but not if it's providing so little data you can't optimise.

On TJ , the volume you get is proportional to smth like bid x daily budget x avg ctr.
Also targeting keywords doesn't help to get volume either ( but in itself is not a bad thing ).
To gather some data about your angle , keep the keywords but raise bids until you see traffic coming in.

I always try to start in the top five bids or the data comes in at a crawl.
Would rather lose money and get the data than wait forever to obtain data that doesn't mean anything because the 'cost of volume' hasn't been factored in.
Depends on your budget though...
Frequency capping is also something that will obviously decrease your volume. Depending on your current settings, it might be worth adding a couple impressions per day and see how that affects volume and quality.
Thanks for the responses! I adjusted the bid and frequency cap and things are moving a bit faster now.. Still a lot to learn about TJ but I like this traffic source so far
