What to name VPS Domain? (4)

I know there was a question like this earlier this month - but I just want to clarify...

You can name your VPS server ANYTHING?
For arguments sake, www.johnathanta.com would be totally fine
or something totally obscure but personally recallable? www.abc123zed.com for example

as my landing pages will have their own domain name hosted within the VPS?

I'm not experienced in this area but I this is my set up.

My main domain(VPS) is my business name. eg. redhill.com.
My tracking is a subdomain of my main domain. eg t.redhill.com.
I then have a domain for the niche I am concentrating on eg www.dates.com (for landing pages).
All three domains use the same IP.

I was reading a thread a while back saying that the pros keep their business domain and tracking domain separate as well as use different IPs for each to minimize spying. I'm a beginner so I'm just keeping things as simple as possible.

Yea you can name it anything, it may make a small difference if it is in the same category as the product you are promoting, but dont worry about that now.

but definitely get a separate VPS for your landers. This way you have a separate IP as well & everything your doing is in one place.

Dont get caught up with the hosting, as this is the easiest thing to fix or switch to a new host provider.

If your a newb you have more important things to figure out..

like Tracking set Up, Learning The platform that your going to use,
The offer that you will promote, Designing the ADS, Landing Page optimization,
Where your going to get MORE MONEY to invest for your campaigns etc. etc.

You just have to make sure your hosting is secure, fast & reliable.. Thats it

Absolutely been spending my time on learning what earns the dough. I just wanted to clarify so I could get my VPS' set up and start applying my knowledge asap.
