Hi everyone! I was wondering what's the best way to convert clicks for dating offers.
Coming from Content Marketing, I thought that getting email addresses from PPC was the best thing to do: once you have email addresses you can try to sell multiple times to your list, and you can also provide content to improve your chance to convert email subscribers into buyers.
Then, running my campaing I found that the email subscribers I was getting by Facebook ads were of a really poor quality - most of them don't confirm their subscription (I'm using double optin), some of them unsubscribe very soon, and the remaining don't open my emails.
I was wondering if it's the case to test a landing page that prepares people for the offers too.
What do you think, which is the best way to convert clicks in the dating niche using FB traffic? Direct link, Click-through landing page or email marketing?
Thank you!
Run 3 versions and give the same budget to each
Best way to know.
@dailytime2 Right
It's what I'm doing now...it all comes down to testing things!
Definitely.
The received wisdom is that landing pages are the best way to convert - but very few affiliates are willing to put the time and effort into building a list and doing email marketing. So if you are, I'd definitely say split-test it.
It's worth split-testing direct linking too, but usually it's the worst converter. There are exceptions, though!

- Url Branding
- Collect emails & bring them into a 20 email funnel
most affiliates do not have patience to experience day 3-4-5 etc ROI by collecting email leads........
you lose cash upfront (because of lead acquisition costs ) but in 3-10 days depending on Strategy you can triple your ROI
(and then still have the list for future cash grabbing when the campaign dies )
most affiliates do not have the patience for this.....
