Here's A High CTR PPV Lander

So I've been learning PPV and I ran into a problem: building LP's was taking me far too long.

I read through a few copywriting books lately and reviewed all of the popular PPV threads - especially Maynzie's. Most of his successful landers were just text.

I wanted to launch campaigns and offers at an insane rate and I followed a simple rule: I would only use text in my landers. This is not optimal in the true sense, but I found that the speed in which it allowed me to test and launch campaigns created a net gain over my previous workflow.

Here's my example:

Note: Link text should be Google/Bing blue.

This was for a car dealership search offer that didn't really back out. My AM said that no one has been able to get this to work and that's the risk you take when you go hunting for unproven offers.

That said, this LP was getting 15-25% CTRs on relevant terms and targets.

New guys: If you're spending more than a couple hours building a lander then you're over-thinking things. Look hard at the case studies on this forum and you'll find that SIMPLE WORKS.

I'd very much agree that your landers don't have to be beautiful - at all.

I've been surprised over and over again at just how simple and downright ugly landers can be and still work.

Angle. Appeal. Overcoming objections. CTA. Bridging between ad and offer.

That's the vital stuff. Award-worthy graphic design ain't on the list

(As an added bonus, simple landers tend to be fast - which provably increases CTRs. That may well be why an all-text lander will do well for PPV. )
