Disappearing FB ads?! (18)

Disappearing FB ads?!

I got a bunch of ads approved for one campaign earlier today but now that I'm checking campaign performance, I realise that none of these ads can be found anywhere. Not under "Campaign & Ads", not under "All Ads" or anywhere else. It's as if I never created the ads, except I got FB's ad approval emails and I'm seeing conversions coming in on my networks.

Has this happened to anyone before?! What did you do?

you sure it's not on the next page? bottom right check if its on next page

Yep, that was one of the first things I checked. Also, I don't have that many camps right now so they can all be seen on one page when on the "Campaign & Ads" page. But it's only got my camps from yesterday. Another sign that things are strange: I'm getting conversions today but the total FB ad spend is $0. Someone somewhere must've clicked thru...

Did the first two, yep. Not sure what other shizzle I could pull here...?

Haha I've had it before where costs weren't updating, was gutted when it updated later! Thought I was getting a freebie off fun

If only!

So, has anyone else here ever encountered this before? I can't be that special

Try the Power Editor in the meantime.

Yeah, I checked there too.

If it's gone from Power Editor (which fetches your ads from the platform directly), you either need to: 1. Wait. 2. Contact FB and hope the person helping you isn't going to flag you for something else LOL.

Never had this issue. Work on your LPs or angles in the meantime.

Nah, I'm running legit stuff so shouldn't be an issue. (Still, you never know these days I guess) Anyway it'll probably take too long emailing back and forth. Easier just to create the ads again. Just weird that I seem to be the only person on the planet experiencing this. Thanks for the help!

Have you checked under all ads > pending / disapproved / deleted? If you're getting clicks from them though... hmm.

Yeah, they weren't there either. *shrugs*

LOL, as if FB cares about legit or not. They hate affiliates and will get your account flagged for anything. Just wait for Bob from Risk Management to take a look at your camps and you will see!

I've had this problem before, and it's an absolute bloody nightmare - particularly if you foolishly assigned the missing ads a rather larger budget than you should have whilst creating them...

The only thing that worked for me was waiting a few days, whereupon the ads mysteriously showed up in my interface again and I was able to pause them.

If you're running clean, you could try contacting Facebook support - they DID get back to me on the problem, although only about 2 days after it resolved itself.

Facebook don't hate ALL affiliates. BUT if somebody from Risk Management is ever asked to look at your account (because it's flagged due to user complaints etc.), you are royally f***ed. Doesn't matter how clean your camps are.

[Removed on request of fellow Stacker]

Anything that says "disposable" about you, is going to make you become disposable to FB.

Pretty much unless you have an amazing angle and preparation, user complaints will end you. If you own your own dating site and do business with FB officially and transparently, you'll be alright. The real money is in something like this, after all...

facebook reps got the power to log into your account and delete your ads if they want

We should ask them to come in and permanently delete some ads then... If I tick keep deleted ads/campaigns in the Power Editor my browser can barely handle downloading my account data... :P
