Hey guys,
I'm an experienced affiliate learning PPV for the first time. My background is in FB and I'm looking to diversify.
I've got a campaign that's narrowed down ~500 original targets to about 15 that are performing well with CTR's in the range of 5% to 20%.
The offer I'm running to is a medium-form leadgen and hasn't converted with ~$25 spend. My concern here is that the offer page may not be correctly sized for the LI pop and people are simply clicking out.
Question: Does anyone have experience making offers that poorly fit LI's default window size work?
Have you tried testing the offer with a DL? I run some offers that are mid to long form in LI and they actually perform real well.
Hmm. I ran it with DL in the testing group to begin with, but it looks like it didn't get any exposure to my winning keywords.
I'm going to split the winning keywords 50/50 with my primary LP and DL again. Will report back.
Turns out the offer was just a dud. AM says no one is making it work.
Yeah well that would do it. I always try and direct link the campaign first to see if it gets any play or not. Then I would recreate the ad and send it to a lander, pause the first and run the second to see if the LP increases or decreases the conversions from the DL. But a lot of times on PPV eliminating that second jump on offers increases conversions.
