Skimlinks Blacklists Amazon Affiliates

Anyone else get this little nugget in your inbox today?

Hope you're well.

I have to be the bearer of bad news - it looks like we will have to blacklist your account from Amazon as your site appears to be registered in a nexus state in our system.

Amazon has requested that we not allow those sites registered in nexus states to promote them via Skimlinks and we have no choice but to comply. This change will take effect sometime either this week or next.

Is this a recent development? Thought I was okay with Skimlinks after my state became a nexus state, but I guess I was wrong. Is Viglink doing the same thing as well?

Build a shell in a non nexus state.

Couldn't that be considered tax evasion or tax fraud?
