Billing threshold account
I haven't advertised with facebook in a while, and when I decided to log into one of my old accounts, I noticed that instead of a daily limit (I think it used to be a $250 account), there is a "billing threshold", which is basically how often facebook will bill me.
I know I can go over that billing threshold, I'm just wondering how much can I go over it, do I have a daily limit? I used it to run non-CPA things, so that's why maybe they upgraded it? I've never seen this happen to an account before.
Thanks

I think billing threshold is daily limit, and you should never reach it in a day

This happened with a few of my old ad accounts which were left untouched. Basically with $250 daily spending limit they used to bill you daily, no matter if its $125 or $250. Now with a billing threshold (which starts at $50 a day) they'll bill you only when you reach that threshold. This limit is upgraded in a similar way like that of daily limit - $50 for a few days, then $100, then $250.. etc so if your account is set at $250 billing threshold, the wont bill you unless you spend $250 which you may take a month to spend.

not sure if there is a spend limit once you get put on a "threshold" - spend away

Has anyone tried spending more than the billing threshold in a day? One of my $2k's got changed to a $50 billing threshold, wtf lol.

The actual limit you can spend a day is 2x billing threshold.
This means if your billing threshold is $500 a day, the most you can spend in a day is $1,000. It's like you have a $1,000 a day spending limit, but instead they will bill you $500 twice, instead of a $1,000 charge.
Facebook is going this route because the less money you owe them, the better. If they ban your account and you owe $500, they only lose $500. If they ban your account and you owe $1,000, they just lost $1,000.
