First Follow Along - FB Campaign 1

Hi Guys,

This is my first follow along of the Facebook campaign after testing and loosing few $$$.

Campaign Details:

Niche: Dating Mainstream
Traffic Source: Facebook
Demo: UK
Age: 35-45 Male

Stats after running it for approx 24 hours:

Spent: $28.16
Earned: $40

I started directly with the LP. The LP I am using is the basic or say dumbo. And possibly the problem is I think is with the LP. It is not working as it was supposed to work.

Please advise me frens to keep the ROI consistent going forward.

Try testing more amateur-looking shots as priority #1. Those shots are clearly model shots, and so probably won't give your visitors much faith that those women are actually on your chosen offer

Thanks Caurmen I will do that...1 more thing should I make 2 female and 2 male pic...because the next would be I will be targeting women as well for the same offer...and what other age or gender variation do u suggest...to expand...

Following FB's TOS, adult is not allowed so the guys cloak them to run those ads.

Hope you've set targeting as males > single > interested in women if you want longer running campaigns & a safe facebook ads account.

Is that suggestion on my concern regarding consistent ROI or just a random doubt clearing.

Consistent ROI - lower but consistent. I've seen a lot of people skipping the 'interested in women' option for extra money just to get their accounts banned. Been there done that

Age and gender variations: try all of them Seriously, it's very hard to predict what will work for each offer - try mixed male and female, try one gender only, try older and younger pics...

Just make sure you know what you're testing each time you test - don't try and test everything at once, just pick a variation (mixed vs single gender, old vs young) and test that, then once you have solid results test the next one, and so on.

Sorry for the hiccups and break. Had to take break due to some personal issues. Have resumed the facebook campaigns on September 24, 2013. Stats are coming:

Target: Male US 25-45 (in 2 groups)


Day 2: 24/09/2013

Revenue: $21.19
Ad Spend: $14.82
ROI: 42%

Day 3: 25/09/2013

Revenue: $10.60
Ad Spend: $11.44
ROI: -7%

Day 04: 26/09/2013

Revenue: $10.60
Ad Spend: $44.33
ROI: -76%


Day 05: 27/09/2013

Revenue: $10.60
Ad Spend: $21.97
ROI: -51%

Day 06: 29/09/2013

Revenue: $0.00
Ad Spend: $0.26
ROI: -100%

Now the rigorous journey will start till I make $500 per day...guys need your guidance...LOOKING FORWARD...
