Help- I just got a ton of free credit on AdWords

Hey there. I spent $50 on adwords today promoting my SEO services. Little did I know that I had 2 coupons entered on my account. One was for a free $100 credit if I spent $25, and the other was for $150 if I spent $50. So I got $250 in free credit today!

Anyways, I wanted to take advantage of this. What would you do?

My main concern is lowering CPCs. Does anyone have good advice in doing that. My CTR is about 0.35% and my bids are manual at $4 max. They have so many options that it confuses me. I think they are showing my ads on the sidebar of Google. Is that a bad thing in terms of the quality of leads, because I am still getting clicks.

I guess that because of competition in the industry Google simply gives it to the highest bidder.

top placement is a combination of quality score and bid price I believe, if you already have good QS, just play around with raising the bids up a little bit. They have a tool in there that will show you a rough estimate of how many more clicks / day you'll get for $X increase in bid price. They have solid help documentation within the platform as well as pretty useful reps as long as you're not promoting affiliate products, I find them to be fairly helpful.
