socialadninja/lotsofads

was looking at these fb ad scrapers....

no disrespect, they looks really cool, but man... $122 a month for an ad scraper at a discount is kinda expensive (heck lotsofads is even more)...

I mean STM has an adult scraper and we pay 99 a month with all the extras....

IMO services like this IMO should run for 40 or so per month.

I think they're priced pretty appropriately. If you're using them properly, and cannot make back the amount they cost plus multitudes more, then you may not be in a stage of your AM/IM career where you're using them for the right purpose. The audience for these services are pretty niche, so you can't exactly sign every person up for a $19.99 rebill

That said, look at WRW, they're significantly more expensive (albeit covering more traffic sources), boxofads is 99/month, even adbeat is 99/month. There's no decent competitive spy tool that's going to be cheaper than that, comparing STM's adult spy tool isn't really fair since they're building that more to power their brand and forum value vs having it be their central business. You'd have to count in Mr Green's POF uploader that he bought from the original owner, the STM modded p202 tracker, the POF adult spy tool, affexpert tools for PPV stuff, etc etc also. I believe the regular non-STM adult spy tool is 149/month.

2 good points of view. glad I stumbled upon this thread since I'm looking for opinions on whether or not to buy into social ad ninja (haven't gotten profitable on fbook yet so a brother from somebody else's mother definitely needs some inspiration from others to get the baul rolling)

timtetra - ya they're looking for ppl who are spending $$ on traffic.... but back in the day adwords scrapers were selling for less.... LOL... bro, i seriously hope that first comment wasn't directed at me...

virginloser - just think its a bit expensive for what it offers... its just a scraper, you can get one built yourself if you wanted... i've built software and sold it for years, 40-70 price range is reasonable for it.

just my 2 cents.

Well, I wouldn't count it as expensive if you run lots of FB traffic.

Both of them are decent tools. Don't compare them with the STM adult scraper though.

Our main purpose was not to make money but to offer a cool new service to our loyal userbase.

Trust me , it takes lots of work to build a FB scraper , mainly because how hard it is to maintain FB accounts.

let me say this... I've never had a high ctr on ANY fbook campaign until I started spying on competitors. BUT, when I say spy I just mean seeing what ads are being served to me on my personal fbook account. From just that, I saw a particular gaming angle that was being heavily advertised so I just threw up a similar angle (with completely diff gaming offer) and wam bam, thank you ma'am- I got a 2% CTR (highest) and at a bear minimum a .6% CTR. So, pretty exciting stuff can happen with a little spying on the angles that are being heavily pushed. So, yea, it sounds like a good investment (social ad ninja) given the fact that you can cut through ads to find what angle is hot to give you some ideas.

ya... if you're running a lotta fb traffic.... but dude... if it wasn't viable $$ wise, you guys wouldn't have added it to STM.

so its viable to add within a 99 a month offer.

they're at 147 for just the scraper.

which is my whole point.

much more value for $$ here vs paying more for getting less.

that said, when i start running fb ads again, i'd give it a whirl... LOL

The FB spy tool also comes with the whole legal probs. FB ain't a fan of any tools that interact with FB that they don't have control over...on top of that affiliates.

There's a reason it costs a lot for us to maintain. Set aside nearly 500 unique proxies for every profile across 42 countries, we have a person working full-time building back-ups and replacing accounts so that there's never any downtime. This is why we can confidently have features such as "last active within" X days, because we know that when you make a query to see what new competitors have crept in yesterday - you want reliable data.

The price of the tool isn't as important as the ROI, which is what we focus on. In that regard, our testimonials speak for themselves. We have a lot more e-mail's of gratitude that haven't been added to that page yet. You wouldn't complain about $1 clicks being "expensive" when your EPC is double or triple that on a campaign. For our subscribers, it works the same way. Every month they see a huge ROI on their investment, so they've stayed loyal to us for years.

500 proxies on 42 countries? YIKES

good point on focusing on the ROI vs the price.... this is why its good to talk with others in the biz.... sometiems you're not seeing things from the right perspective.... talking (without getting reamed like some other forums) about it and seeing other perspectives helps you see somethings you maybe dont see or overlook.
