Profit Kings Media tracking issues...

Hey all, two quick things.

My tracking pixel in PKM is not working. It won't show up in CPV lab. This is upsetting as I have a HOT CAMPAIGN with CPV lab but it wont come through due to some sort of issue with PKM tracking.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to resolve this? Haven't been able to get in touch with the PKM staff due to them being at ASE I believe.

Also, does PKM offer support for multiple sub ids? I want to filter out my CPV lab unique ID but also branch my sub ids by campaign so I can get more detailed feedback from the advertiser (hopefully).

Please let me know if any of you guys have these issues and anything that can be done to resolve it. Thanks!

Hmm - obvious first suggestion would be to manually export the converting subids for now and reupload them to CPVLab. I know that's doable with PKM's system.

You could do that for a couple of days, then get chatting to PKM once they're back from ASE.

What kind of pixel are you using?

Some campaigns support only "normal" pixels ( image / js / iframe ) and some postbacks only ( usually mobile offers ).

Make sure you are using the correct pixel and as Caurmen said upload subids till you get in touch with your AM.

Hey thanks for the replies guys.

I am using an image pixel. Its weird because pkm does not have a confirmation when you upload the pixel. It basically just disappears after you hit okay. Very frustrating.

I'm hoping someone at pkm or who runs their offers can help me out.

Also, caurmen...you mean the sub ids that are appended automaticaly for each visitor? How the heck do I upload that?

Name:	cpvlab_subids.jpg

Size:	19.5 KB
ID:	1212

Then you copy all the converting SubIds into the textfield and hit "Save".

gotta make sure you have the right campaign selected too. I brainfarted that one the other day. Think it works with all campaigns selected too.

This happened to me before. If im not mistaken...I think you need to have ssl for it to postback to your tracking system (although I could be thinking about EWA cuz they both used the same affiliate program - "Linktrust" if I remember correctly)

I hated Linktrust in my fleeting experience with EWA. Not sure what it's like now but the subid tracking was pathetic. I remember the platform not offering multiple subids which made postback tracking retarded. You can always send stuff as X_Y_Z_uniqueid and split things apart with a middleman but the plethora of unique subids made analysis within the platform difficult.

Let us know how you get on. In the meantime it would probably be wise to simply pass unique click IDs and manually update conversions.

Quick question about uploading the converting sub ids...

If you upload the same converting sub id twice...does it show up as 2 conversions? Don't want to fuck up my data.

Lemme know!

No, you should be fine. A while ago, I regularly uploaded all SubIDs from a given day when my postback URL was missing conversions and my stats were always correct afterwards.

Nope, subids are unique. If you upload one that you already uploaded, the tracker will just ignore it. Just be sure not to upload any subids that didn't convert.
