Can VPN offers generate positive ROI on paid traffic? (5)
Hi STMers,
My friend recently bought VPN service as a business and going to acquire few more. Would like to know if there are workable chance to be ROI positive on converting VPN service on paid traffic being affiliate. If so, what angles and traffic sources worth to try first.
If ill see that friends VPN business cash flows can be scaled with working me as affiliate big chance we will make a deal of getting me the equity in business.
I looked quickly trough offers search engines and find only few offers from VPN business at CPA networks. Seems like there are no big affiliate $?
But despite of comparative low price, VPN offer looks lucrative coz of amount of possible angles and traffic sources?
With all the #NSA disclosures right now I don't see why not. People want privacy 
I have never thought of running these kind of campaigns but I could see it working on PPC or cheap banner buys.
Just play the much talked about privacy angle.
Ill try Special PPC mentioned in Stackman's post then for converting stuff like purevpn.com. CPA value for VPN service should be about $100. So i need to target to be profitable at about $40 CPA

If you're targeting the right audience and have the budget for a high-payout offer like that, I think this could be a very profitable campaign. Hit the Hacker News / Torrentfreak crowd!
(Indeed, thinking about it, testing on torrent sites might not be a bad idea.)
