From 0 to 500/day profit, how long it took me? (7)
Well, 15 fuckin' months.
I've started from 0 (didn't know anything about how to make money online, except that it must be possible) in January 2012.
In April 2013 I had few 500+ profit days (adult, international, mostly Germany).
After that I was distracted by many private things so I didn't kept that but I'm working on restoring my revenues.
I post this for newbies just to illustrate one possible timeframe of someone who do this AM full time and is not that fast, actually. I must say I was frustrated by guys saying like: "I started this shit three months ago and now I make $xxxx/day...".
I don't care anymore. I know this shit works so I just keep truckin 
Everyone's experience is different bud. I hit my first $500 profit days 2-3 weeks in. Keep at it
(after giving up in 09, that is... I got back into it mid 2011).

It's a fulltime job that can be very lucrative, it's nothing less. If you look at it like this and are willing to spend the $ testing, you will make it work.
Thanks for sharing! Yes, everyone's experiences will be different. We all have different responsibilities in life that we must take care of, we all have different starting budgets, we all have different skill sets.
Some people get lucky and hit $x,xxx/day within weeks or months... some don't. We're not all 20 something students who live with their parents and don't have full time jobs or real bills. Not everyone has $5k stashed away to invest into this that they are willing to lose.
I started with a couple hundred dollars that I was willing to lose and had to work with monthly payments to build it up to something bigger. It took me around 18 months to hit a $500 profit day but I have a full time job, a family and a home that I'm not willing to risk losing. These things have made it difficult to invest the time and money that some people are able to.
In some ways I'm glad I didn't find instant success. It could have led me to make some decisions that could have turned out very badly for me if I wasn't able to sustain that type of income with only a few months experience.
Despite some bumps along the way, I have made significant progress in my AM journey and feel that I am getting very close to 'breaking through' to that next level. I continue to set realistic goals and continue to reach them. If you truly believe in what you're doing and put in the effort that is necessary to succeed then you will be rewarded.

@doppelganger: I also think it's a for one part matter of luck to have quick success. And indeed, I don't know if it's desirable. Actually I agree with you and I'm also kinda glad I didn't have instant success. Am I, really?

In my case it went something like this:
Jan 2012 - started reading how to make money online. Ed Dale. SEO approach. Objective is to make your first buck online after 30 days.
Feb - have tried to find my niche. Have found out that informations are outdated and it may take longer to make first 1$ online.
Mar - getting slightly depressed realizing it's more difficult that I thought
Apr - made maybe $3-4 bucks with adsense. got tired of SEO, pinguins, pandas... started reading about affiliate networks, CPA... found Shomoney.
May - Facebook, will it be! Unfortunately some info from Shoe is slightly outdated (yes, big tits gets high CTR but...). Never mind, made first $xx in revenue!
Jun - Discouraged by Facebook (dis)approval process. Reading, reading. Aha, adult is the way to go. It's easy money. Got good offer from my AM, yes! Offer was pulled 1 day later, no.
Jul - Pfff. Not so easy, actually. But have had few profitable days! Light at the end of tunnel. Have sent traffic to Ryan Eagle's EWA network.
Aug - Have tried this, tried that. Was booted from offers. Went on vacation. Was trying to get payment from EWA.
Sep - Obviously I won't get paid from EWA. Low $xxxx gone. Is this all scam? Became member of STM. Went to two meetups. Have talked to people.
Okt - Got depressed after reading success stories on STM (or elsewhere). Am I really that stupid? But this month's loss was smaller than in September. Hey, that's a good direction!
Nov - Somewhere in November finally have hit the right combination of traffic, promotion and offer! At the end of the month I was positive (few hundreds)! It works, it works! Or does it?
Dec - December was profitable too! No, it was not Santa who did that.
Jan - Another positive month. Yes!!!
And so on...
I thought first it will take me like 6 months. But it took me longer. Never mind. In April, after 15 months (and after I had few profitable months in a row) I was able to say: Yes, I made it! I made money online!
So, if it doesn't go as fast as you want: keep calm and keep on truckin'
Shit man good on ya for hanging in. Not many people would of stuck around for so long. But man I bet your glad you did!
