Hello Everyone,
I am new to STM and I am in learning stage. I have done some affiliate marketing through my blog and got some success, but not that big. Now I want to try direct affiliate marketing and when I read hear everyone is suggesting to create a landing page.
I am not sure about what type of landing page, what will be on that landing page and if we create a landing page will 100% visitors will go to offer page. In direct linking we are sure 100% traffic will go to offer site.
or
Landing page is created just to redirect visitors on offer page or iFrame the offer page on your own URL.
Please explain me more on landing page.
Thank you
Ravi
If you create a landing page, it will dramatically cut down the amount of visitors to your offer, but it may rapidly increase your conversion rate as the people clicking through are genuinely interested in your cpa offer.
Depending on what you're running now, you may want to spy on your competition to see what they're running and gather some inspiration. STM has threads on landing pages, we have quite a few openly available!
Landing page is basically to add more selling to your cpa offer, to weed out the non converters and only send the customers intrigued in your product, its basically a pre-sell
Is it advised to create a landing page for every offer or better to only create when traffic source do not allow affiliate offers to promote?
I'd recommend testing a landing page on almost every offer you try. There are some exceptions to the rule - some mobile campaigns - but in general, it's always worth testing a lander.
If you're looking for some sample landers, here's a list that should keep you going for a while
Sometimes creating a landing page seems like it would be less effective than sending traffic directly to the offer, but landing pages can help to pre-sell the user and/or help to bridge the gap between your traffic source and the offer. This is especially true when you're getting traffic from a niche market (and as an affiliate marketer, you should be!).
You have full control of your landing page and you can optimize for success.
Make use of keyword insertion on your landing page, add a hero shot and a big juicy button, that looks like a clickable button.
Good luck!
