Hey Guys,
Hope everyone's well. I've just got a question that's been daunting at me for a bit.
I'm promoting a few MarketHealth offers and I'm getting decent sales on the CPA model however they also have a Revenue Share model.
What do you think would be the best option and why? I'm thinking of giving Rev Share a go for at least a month to see how it goes but I won't be able to really tell the difference without keeping it there for longer than a month right?
Any tips are much appreciated.
Thank you.
Hey dude, yeah it's definitely worth giving rev share a run if you have got CPA running well. Why not just split your traffic. It minimizes the risk and gives you a fair split.
Sometimes you can earn more on a Revshare. It can be a great long term model, since the advertiser is paying for sales, not just leads. It will change your metrics and how you optimize, but worth a try.
Rev share's definitely a long term model. I'm not a fan personally but some people seem to enjoy the recurring income from past month's work
Thanks for the tips guys.
I think it depends on what you're selling though right? If it was a membership site or something then recurring makes sense, however if it's a product then the difference between CPA and Rev Share may be different unless the person continues to use the product and make re-orders.
I guess in my scenario it will be best to test it it out and see what works out better long-term.
From memory, Market Health doesn't do Rebills, they are all CPS offers. This means, the CPA you are paid of roughly $40 is paid on the CPS $50-$150 offer because the seller is hoping the person buys more bottles. I.e. if they buy 1 bottle for $50 or 6 for $150, you will only get $40 either way.
The Rev Share model they use, gives you 50% of what they purchase. For example, if they get 6 at $150, you will get $75. Most people will probably only buy the $50 offer, so you will only get $25. I'm not sure if you will get people naturally coming back to re-order (maybe a very, very small amount).
It should only take you 3 days max to test whether a guaranteed CPA of $40 or 50% of what the person decides to purchase is better or not.
You might want to jump onto other networks, such as C2M for better offers with higher EPCs.
If anybody has a good Rebill offer with backend Rev Share, hit me up
I did rev share back in the day when i owned websites and i got paid for YEARS after. No matter how much you make it's exciting to receive a $1600 check in the mail every month from something you did 3 years prior!
If you're running a product that's actually likely to turn longterm sales (best examples here are bodybuilding supplements, gambling, subscription programs like diet plans with supports etc) rev share normally kills it from my experience.
Like stackman said, getting rev share of stuff you promoted 1-2 years back monthly for several grands a month is sweet ^^
Though be careful, some programs monetize better then others, best is so split test and check with the reps and ask them what do they offer to previous clients to upsell them again? Free trials, incentives, discounts all that pretty much can make it a solid winner over longterm, but personally in gambling I experienced HUGE difference from the lifetime of a signup / CPA.
