QS Tips (Chime In)
Hey guys i'm after some tips on how to get this QS upto 10/10 - I've managed it on some campaigns but I still am not 100% HOW haha.
My questions are....
Does the keyword need to be in the title and body on the ads?
Does the site need to have some density with with keywords?
Does the site have to be aged and indexed?
Might sound silly q's but i'm trying to crack it and it's a bugger!!
Hopefully people can chime in and will help others too in the long run

Here's what I do:
- Register a brand new domain. Make sure it was not registered before by someone else.
- Throw in about 30 articles on the niche
- Create a site map, privacy policy, terms of use etc.
- Point out about 30 outbound links to competitors in the similar niche on a separate "links" page
- Make sure your site is completely ready before you host it
- Do about 500 directory, article etc. submissions
- Wait for 1 month for Google to index your site a couple of times
- Use that domain in Adwords
- When you setup new text ads, always make sure you bid way more than the suggested cpcs, the higher you bid, the higher the chances of you getting the best winning ad. So, if my suggested bid is $0.37. I'd set the max cpc bid to $1. Although Google won't charge you that high cpc, but it will charge you somewhere in the middle, and the cpcs will drop substantially based on how good your ad is.
You're guaranteed to get a 8/10 score to start. If you have multiple combinations of ads that have great CTRs, you'll get 10/10 in no time.
Good luck!

Well, the thing about Adwords is that once you've got a campaign oiled very well, it's pretty much an auto-pilot show. Just see what kind of gruesome nightmares and crap that marketers have to go through with Facebook and other ad networks. I setup one campaign on Adwords that took me about 20 days to to fully test out - setup keywords, optimize a "perfect" landing page etc., and I didn't touch it for almost half a year. It brought me half a million dollars in revenue back in 2008. Sadly, the offer went down in summer 2009, so I had to pull down the campaign otherwise I was looking at making a million dollars in revenue doing nothing!

It was a lead gen. I am not too good at Co Reg, and it's a lot of work, so I just moved on. However, I did try mocking it a bit, but I was too lazy to do it all, and by the time the offer came back I was already into rebills. The offer is still on today. I think the offer had died down due to the slow down in 2009.
